As a producer, I have had the opportunity to work with excellent artists, especially in Latin America. I have been working in this industry since 2005. My mentor, brother and partner in more than 1500 songs, Sergio Cuquejo, is considered one of the best producers in Paraguay. He gave me the opportunity to work in his studio. At first I worked as a chorister in different genres: pop, ballads, cumbia, folklore.
Then I started to get more involved and I started writing songs for myself and then for other artists.
In time, the opportunity came to work on a great TV production and that's where I fell in love with the art of producing.
Some time later, I signed my first contract with a major publisher and my international career began.
I learned that in production it is important to listen to the artist, understand the market and not just go for personal taste.
I also learned that a producer's job is not only to gather and record a group of musicians, but also to be able to connect the right song with the right artist and vice versa, and that the more sincere you are, the more the audience connects with the artist and with the song.
Producing for me is the part I really like about music because I can connect with the ideals of the artist and it gives you the freedom to create something from scratch.
You can learn and work from many angles in production, from programming, arrangements, engineering, administration, composition and many more, but the most important thing is that as a producer you are always in the service of the artist and that fills your soul.
